Committed to Community
Year over year, crime statistics show the efforts of the APF and the leadership of the APD are working — crime is steadily decreasing. However, there is still much that can be done to make our city safer. Residents and visitors must be able to live in their homes, enjoy the City and feel secure, without undue concern for their safety.
The APF is committed to developing programs that involve residents and partners to help make Atlanta safer by focusing on three objectives: engaging young people in crime prevention; empowering and teaching communities how to take ownership of their safety and security; and effectively identifying repeat offenders who continue to commit felonies.
