Crime Stoppers

Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta (CSGA) concluded its 14th year of operation in 2021 with a geographic coverage of more than 100 jurisdictions in the metro Atlanta area. A map of the participating jurisdictions can be found below.

The Atlanta Police Foundation manages the metrowide program, under the supervision of a designated APD sergeant. The CSGA tip line (404-577-8477) enables citizens to play a direct role in reducing crime by submitting anonymous tips that lead to a criminal arrest.

CSGA tips have led to more than 1,710 arrests since the program’s inception, including 86 in 2021. The program’s success has resulted in 2,187 cases cleared since inception. Police have recovered 286 weapons and more than $290,000 in cash from suspects and convicted defendants. The value of illegal drug seizures was more than $22,000 in 2021 and over $900,000 since inception.
